YARRAPOST GUIDES · UPDATED 14 SEPTEMBER 2026

Approve and schedule social posts

YarraPost brings drafts, media, review and delivery into one workspace. Each destination has its own version of a post and its own publishing outcome. This guide covers the current early-access workflow.

1. Choose the destination before preparing your media

Open Channels and check the connected account’s name and supported formats. A LinkedIn personal profile and a company page are different destinations; current LinkedIn publishing supports personal profiles only. Channel availability also depends on provider permissions and review.

Facebook, Instagram and YouTube access remains subject to early-access restrictions. A saved connection does not guarantee its permissions are still valid.

2. Create a draft and attach the finished asset

Upload your media, create a post and select the intended connection. Write a separate caption for each destination instead of assuming the same text and media work everywhere. The internal post title helps you find the draft; review the destination text separately.

For a LinkedIn video, attach the MP4 to the personal-profile version and add the accompanying text. Run validation before requesting review. Validation checks the file and destination requirements, but successful validation is not confirmation that the provider will accept or publish it.

For file limits and a full walkthrough, read publish an MP4 video to your LinkedIn personal profile.

3. Review the exact text and media

Request approval when the draft is ready. The reviewer should check the destination, caption and attached asset together. Approval belongs to that content revision. Changing the text or media invalidates its approval and cancels queued publication, so request review again after an edit.

4. Publish now or select a schedule

Once the required approval is recorded, choose Publish now or schedule a time. Check the displayed timezone before scheduling. Scheduling records when delivery should begin; a video can take additional time to upload and process on the social network.

5. Follow each destination through delivery

Check the post’s activity and delivery status. Queued means work is waiting; processing means the provider outcome is still pending. Treat a destination as published only when its delivery is confirmed, then open the returned post link.

For recoverable interruptions, follow the displayed recovery guidance. If the outcome is uncertain, do not create a replacement post or repeatedly publish again: the provider may have accepted the original request. Preserve the delivery and contact support for inspection. Include the post or delivery ID and the visible error, without credentials.

Automate the same workflow

Agents can prepare content and track delivery through the API and MCP integration guide, subject to the workspace’s permission and approval rules.
